My husband and I watched a great movie over the weekend, Seven Days in Utopia, with Robert Duvall, who we appreciate as an actor. In the movie, there was a message that has been popping up for me frequently in many different ways. The message is “Bury Your Lies!”
Lies have been penetrating my thoughts more lately. Are you experiencing the same? Maybe due to the change of seasons, which requires more activity, more responsibilities, less clothing, and pressure to plan the summer. In my case, add the expansion of our studio team and my family. With all this change, I’m noticing more lies and less confidence; more stress and less peace.
Now that I am aware, I can see how they are holding me back from being my best self. I am choosing to purge them from my thoughts by writing them down, then throwing the paper away, burying them in the garbage where they belong. There is something about taking action that creates freedom from those thoughts and lies. Want to join me? What lies are holding you back?
