We are celebrating 250 years of our country’s freedom this year! How amazing. It seems like a long time; however, we are truly a young country compared to others. With this celebration, I began reflecting on how I view freedom. What does it mean to me? Do I take my freedoms for granted?
When I read my past FREEDOM blogs and sat in my current reflections, I recognized that I am someone who looks forward to improving and growing. However, I am also someone who appreciates all that I have in life. My faith, my family, my team, my business, my privileges, my rights, my mobility, my strength, my flexibility, and my gifts, to name a few. My country and my life have given me so much to value, appreciate, and celebrate.
I challenge you today to reflect on what freedom means to you, what freedoms you are grateful for, and to acknowledge whether you take these for granted. Let this reflection fill your cup with lots to celebrate this 4th of July!
