Well-being for people and the planet has been a passion in my work and personal life. After being a student of willPower & grace®, a well-being fusion of fitness and yoga, for over 10 years, I set a goal, when I retired, to get certified as a Group Fitness Instructor for Get Empowered Fitness Studio. willPower & grace® have the same 26 moves in every class, which strengthen and prepare our bodies and minds for activities of daily living. However, I had no idea the amount of learning, training, and practice this was going to entail. I started in 2025 and am excited to announce, it’s official! I am now an AFAA certified Group Fitness instructor!! I am looking forward to sharing my passion for group fitness and mind-body, foot-to-core workouts with you. One thing I have learned through my training and certification is that repetition is good for our brain and body, our neurons send messages faster, and muscles respond more adeptly, creating benefits of muscle tone and strength.
